VI SOFTWARE TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, utilizing, or otherwise engaging with the VI Software platform, including but not limited to the creation, administration, or participation in modded Minecraft servers (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"), you, as a user, explicitly acknowledge, accept, and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms of Service agreement ("Agreement" or "Terms"). If you do not consent to any provision contained herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services. These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including, without limitation, individuals or entities acting as server creators ("Licensees"), players, contributors, and any other category of user engaging with the Services.
Definitions:
"Licensees": Users who engage in the creation, administration, or hosting of modded Minecraft servers through the VI Software platform. This includes individuals or entities managing or operating servers.
"User Content": Any content submitted, uploaded, or otherwise provided by users, including but not limited to logos, videos, in-game creations, modifications, or other materials.
"Platform License Agreement" (PLA): The agreement that governs the operational, managerial, and content-related aspects of hosted modded Minecraft servers.
"Player": Users who participate in modded servers hosted via the VI Software platform but do not engage in server creation or administration.
2. Platform Overview
VI Software provides users with an integrated platform that enables the creation, administration, and management of modded Minecraft servers. Users may modify and configure their servers with proprietary and third-party modifications, engage in multiplayer gaming, and interact with the larger modded Minecraft ecosystem through the VI Software launcher. The platform may, at its discretion, introduce additional features, enhancements, and software tools, subject to terms set forth by VI Software. These Terms shall apply to all users interacting with the platform, including server administrators (referred to as "Licensees"), players, and any other individuals accessing the platform.
3. Server Governance & Platform License Agreement (PLA)
3.1 Licensees (Server Creators)
Individuals or entities who create, configure, or manage modded Minecraft servers via VI Software (hereinafter referred to as "Licensees") are bound by the additional terms outlined in the Platform License Agreement (PLA), which governs the operational, technical, and legal requirements of hosting servers. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Agreement and the PLA, the PLA shall supersede and control with respect to server governance.
3.2 Players
Players who engage with the modded servers created by Licensees are bound by both these Terms of Service and any specific terms or rules set forth by the Licensee, provided such rules are consistent with the provisions of these Terms and the PLA.
4. Account Creation, Security, and Responsibilities
4.1 Registration Requirements
In order to access and use the Services, users are required to register an account with VI Software. By registering, users represent and warrant that all information provided during the registration process is accurate, complete, and up to date. Failure to provide accurate information may result in the suspension or termination of the user’s account. VI Software reserves the right to verify the accuracy of all registration information and to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false or misleading details.
4.2 Security Responsibilities and Liabilities
Users are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of their account credentials. All actions undertaken through a user’s account shall be presumed to have been authorized by the account holder. Users are obligated to promptly report to VI Software any suspected unauthorized use of their account. However, the user acknowledges that VI Software is not obligated to provide assistance, and the responsibility to secure their account lies solely with the user. While users may contact VI Software for assistance in cases of unauthorized access, such assistance is not guaranteed and is provided at VI Software’s discretion.
Notwithstanding the above, in the event that an account is compromised, VI Software retains the right to enforce penalties, including suspension or termination of the account, if it is determined that the user violated any terms of this Agreement, the Platform License Agreement (PLA), or other applicable rules or laws during or after the unauthorized access.
5. License Grant for Service Utilization
5.1 License for Server Creators (Licensees)
VI Software grants Licensees a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to utilize the platform for the purposes of establishing, configuring, and managing modded Minecraft servers. Licensees are obligated to ensure full compliance with both this Agreement and the PLA.
5.2 Player Access Rights
Players are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and interact with modded Minecraft servers through the VI Software launcher, contingent upon adherence to all applicable regulations and conduct expectations.
6. Platform Usage Guidelines
To sustain a secure and respectful community, all users agree to the following:
6.1 Respect & Non-Discrimination
Users shall not engage in conduct that is harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability status, or any other protected characteristic.
6.2 Prohibition of Harmful Content
Content that promotes violence, hate speech, exploitation, or illegal activities is expressly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the distribution of malware, unauthorized modifications ("cheats"), and exploitative software.

7. Server Content Management & Compliance
7.1 Licensee Responsibilities
Licensees are responsible for all content hosted on their servers, including but not limited to custom modifications, plugins, and in-game configurations. Licensees must ensure that all content complies with intellectual property laws and applicable regulations.
7.2 Prohibited Server Content
Servers may not host or promote any content that is:
Illegal or in violation of applicable laws;
Malicious, including but not limited to software designed to exploit or harm users;
Offensive, including adult material, hate speech, or discriminatory language;
Designed to enable or promote cheating, hacking, or unfair gameplay advantages.
8. Intellectual Property & License to Use Content
By submitting, uploading, or otherwise providing any content to VI Software, including but not limited to logos, videos, names, in-game creations (e.g., buildings), modifications, or other materials (collectively, "User Content"), you, as the owner of such content or as an authorized agent with the full right and authority to grant this license, grant to VI Software a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, modify, display, distribute, and reproduce the User Content in connection with the operation and promotion of the platform and its associated services. This license includes, but is not limited to, the right to incorporate User Content in platform features, such as API integration, as a launcher background, and promotional materials related to the platform.
8.2 License Scope
This license is granted solely for the purpose of enabling VI Software to use the User Content as described in these Terms of Service. You retain all rights to your User Content, subject to the license granted to VI Software. VI Software may use and share your User Content as part of its ongoing operations, including in public-facing materials such as marketing, social media, and within the platform itself.
8.3 User Content Compliance and Ownership
By submitting or uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that:
You are either the owner of the User Content or an authorized agent with full authority to grant the rights and licenses specified in these Terms of Service.
The User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, rights of publicity, or privacy rights of any third party and complies with all applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
The User Content is not subject to any third-party rights or claims that would interfere with the rights granted to VI Software under these Terms of Service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VI Software for any breach of these representations or warranties.
9. Monetization Restrictions
Monetization of any kind through the VI Software platform is strictly prohibited unless the user possesses a valid commercial license issued by VI Software. This applies to the following:
Server owners and any individuals or entities involved in marketing, promoting, or operating servers for profit on the platform must hold a valid commercial license issued by VI Software. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who run or advertise servers with paid access, sell in-game items, offer premium content, or otherwise profit from the operation or promotion of servers. The commercial license must be held by the server owner or operator responsible for any monetization activities.
Streamers and content creators who wish to monetize their streams or videos related to gameplay on the VI Software platform must ensure that the server they are playing on holds a valid commercial license. If the server does not have a commercial license, streamers are prohibited from monetizing any content related to their participation in that server, including ad revenue, sponsorships, donations, or other forms of commercial gain.
Users, including server owners and content creators, who wish to enter into third-party commercial partnerships, promotions, or sponsorships related to their use of VI Software’s platform, content, or servers, must hold a valid commercial license issued by VI Software. These partnerships may not take place unless the user has received the appropriate commercial license.
Monetization is only permitted through formal agreements with VI Software. Users found violating these restrictions, including breaches of the Mojang EULA, may face account suspension, termination, and legal action.
10. Security & Privacy Compliance

10.2 Security Obligations
Licensees are responsible for ensuring that their servers are secure and protected against unauthorized access or exploitation. VI Software may assist with security issues but is not responsible for ensuring the security of individual user servers. VI Software reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are compromised or used in violation of the security obligations outlined herein.
11. Dispute Resolution & Appeals
11.1 Disputes Between Users
VI Software does not mediate user disputes. Users must resolve conflicts independently or through available platform tools.
11.2 Appeals Process
Users may submit appeals for account suspensions or content removal by contacting support However, VI Software reserves the right to deny any appeal and the final decision regarding any appeal is at the sole discretion of VI Software.
12. Service Availability & Liability
VI Software is not responsible for downtime and is not obligated to maintain server availability. Users opting into beta features acknowledge the absence of warranties and must comply with beta-specific policies.
13. Age Requirement & Guardian Responsibility
VI Software is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data from anyone under this age. If you are under 16, you must not use the platform or provide any personal information.
For users under the age of 18 (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater), access to the platform is only permitted with the express permission and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. In such cases, the parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor's use of the Services, including any actions, interactions, and consequences.
VI Software strongly advises against allowing minors under the age of 18 to use the platform due to the nature of online interactions and user-generated content. Any use by minors is entirely at the discretion and risk of the parent or guardian.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the Valencian Community, Spain.
