Download and Installation on Windows

  1. Go to https://github.com/VI-Software/vis-launcher/releases
  2. “Look for the latest stable version (By default, they are sorted from newest to oldest).”

In this example, the latest version is 1.0.2.

  1. Download the version compatible with your operating system. In this tutorial, we are covering Windows, so we will download VI-Software-Launcher-setup-(version number).exe.
  2. Starting from Beta 1.6.3, the installer includes a copy of the license on Windows. To proceed with the process, review the license carefully and click ‘I agree’ as shown in the image.
  1. Double-click the file to open it; a screen like this might appear:
  1. EThis is just Windows warning that the file is not signed with a certificate. Click ‘More info’ and then ‘Run anyway’
  1. Once you’ve done this, the installation wizard will open, and you will see something like this:
  1. “Select the ‘Only for me’ option and click ‘Next’.”
  1. Now the installer will ask where you want to install the program. It is recommended to leave the default path. Just click ‘Install’.
  1. Once the installation is successful, the installation wizard will display a screen similar to the image below. Simply click ‘Finish’ and the wizard will close

That’s it! You’ve completed the installation on Windows! 🎉🎉🥳🥳
